Norwegian startup Mesta Software bought by Trimble

Trimble Navigation Software Ltd. said Wednesday it acquired the software suite from Mesta Entreprenor AS.

Sunnyvale-based Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) did not disclose financial terms of the deal.

Mesta is a subsidiary of Mesta Konsern AS, one of Norway's largest contracting groups for road and highway construction as well as related operations and maintenance.

The software suite includes office, field data collection and on-machine products specifically designed for the Nordic construction market.
